Two Little Turkeys

12 Months

Our baby girl is one year old, I honestly cannot believe it! What a fun year it has been to watch her grow into a sweet, silly and loving little girl. 

I love looking back and seeing how much she had changed month to month!! 

Birthday Baby

Today is our baby girl's first birthday! What a special day for all of us! She is so sweet and funny. It's hard to remember what our life was like before her. She fits in with us so perfectly! She is just precious and we absolutely adore her!!! I have a million pictures to share and her party is next weekend, but here are a few cupcake pics until then. 

Fall Pics in the Leaves

My friend has a fancy camera and she snapped these pics of the kids when we were at her house a few weeks ago! I love how they turned out with the leaves.  She did such a great job of capturing the moment! 

Turkey Crown

Little man had a "turkey trot" at preschool. They made (according to him) "turkey crowns" and then went for a walk around the hallways at school. Little man loves to wear a hat so naturally he loved the turkey crown too! I am so thankful for our preschool teachers. They are so creative and fun. Little man loves going to school and is always so excited to show me his artwork and projects. Pretty cute!! 

It's Snowing

We had our first snow of the season and it was a good one! Of course, one of us couldn't wait to get out and build a "no-man" and the rest of us were all dreading it!! When baby sister went down for a nap we were out playing! Shoveling, "no-angles" and building a fort with the neighbors. The snow is still too powdery for the snowman but I'm sure we will back out tonight when the hubs gets home from work! 

Afterwards, we warmed up with some hot chocolate and plenty of marshmallows! 

Inside Play

It is officially coooooold. And since it's too cold for the park, we opted to go to an indoor play center. It's actually a store that sells swing sets, or for a few dollars you can get a play pass. They also have trampolines, a basketball ball court, scooters and bikes. I have a feeling we will be spending a lot of time there this winter!! 

Pom Pom Play

We got out the poms yesterday and baby girl loved them. I used an empty baby wipe container and she practiced picking them up and putting them inside. She caught on quickly and her brother loved coaching her. 

For little man, we worked on making patterns with the colors and counting. 

Kiss Cookies

A while back we made peanut blossoms and little man was given the honorable jobs of 1) unwrapping the kisses and 2) sampling the cookies. Excellent work! 

11 months

This month baby girl got a bunch of teeth and started taking her first few steps!! It has been a busy, exciting and fun month! She has also started using a fork, says, "Hi!" and waves, nods her head yes and gives hugs. She dances when she hears music and it is the cutest thing! Of course, she really loves the Frozen music (who doesn't?!). Her hair is getting so long, we wear it in a lot of palm trees or pig tails every day!
