Popcicles on the Porch

These are from about two weeks ago, while we were waiting to get our A/C fixed. Kids love popcicles! 

Last Day of Preschool

Last week was little man's last day of preschool... At least for this school year! 

I can't believe how much he has grown and changed this school year! He has really improved with his speech, writing and counting. We are excited for summer but sad that our Wednesday & Friday mornings will no longer have preschool! 

Keeping Cool

Last week temperatures were in the 80s! We were loving the heat but without air conditioning! The day before our replacement A/C arrived, we cooled off by playing in the water table! 

Little man kept asking me for a picture in front of the flowering tree in our backyard, I snapped this cutie as we were walking there. 

Once it was time to take his picture he didn't want to smile! 

So we decided to have popcicles for a snack! 

Mom's Day Art

We went to a "paint your own pottery" place to make artwork for Mother's Day. The kids picked their paint colors and painted a tile complete with a handprint. The tiles went into the kiln and we picked them up a week later. Both kids loved painting! It was very fun and a sweet keepsake for my mom and mother in law. 

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day! I was able to celebrate at dinner with my mom and grandma and at brunch with my mother in law! In the afternoon we took the kids over to the zoo. Love being a mom to these two special kiddos! :) 

Flamingos!

We had a really cool animal encounter at the zoo this morning. The zoo keepers were taking the flamingos for a walk! They came right up to the stroller! Baby girl was verrrry excited!

Books in Bed

Yesterday morning I woke up to the sweetest little voice babbling. I looked on the monitor and couldn't figure out what baby girl was doing! When I went in the room I found her reading her favorite Frozen book! I was unaware she had a book hidden in her crib! She always wakes up so sweet and happy! :) 

Touch A Truck

Today the park was filled with trucks for the kids to see. Fire trucks, police cars, an ambulance, garbage truck, dump truck, school bus... The list goes on! Little man loved it!! He was able to climb up in a few of the trucks and shake hands with the firefighters and police officers. We had a picnic lunch and came home with balloons!
