Park & Meadow Walk

We tried a new park and had a great time!!  It was fun to play on something different. This playground was built like a tree house and also had a cool tunnel that baby girl liked. 

The park was hidden in a quiet little nature preserve next to a big pond and meadow. There were two trails. The one we chose was a grassy area full of wild flowers and had a mowed path for us to walk on. It was a half mile loop. The kids loved running down the path, it was so sweet!! 

Of course we had to stop and check out some bugs. 

Little man asked to take pictures of some of the flowers! I think we all appreciated spending the afternoon outside!

Mini-Golf

We went putt-putting for little man's birthday. Of course, he had to wear his Police Chief ensemble. I was surprised by how well the littles did!! We had a lot of fun together as a family! 

Of course, baby girl wanted a pink golf ball (and her brother chose black). I love how the putter is taller than she is!! 

FOUR

My little man turned FOUR today!! We had a really great day (weekend really) celebrating our baby boy!! His birthday weekend involved all of the usual favorites... playing fireman, policeman, eating pancakes and cake. I am excited for age four and am already wanting to slow down time!!

We have spent a lot of the summer eating cool treats - mostly Popsicles but every now and then ice cream (or Dippin' Dots)! Here are the munchkins with their ice cream!
