Children's Museum

Saturday we went to a local children's museum. It was really neat and I think little man really liked it!

The museum is divided into two areas: a small city for pretend play and an animal room where there are snakes, dish, chickens, bunnies, birds, etc. I think he liked the animal room more than the mini city -- but it's hard to say.

It was a fun family outing and that afternoon, little man took a nice, long nap! (win-win!!)

We got to pet a chinchilla!  He was not too sure... 

Reading With Dad

Little man still loves his books!! His two favorites right now are Where The Wild Things Are and Llama Llama Red Pajama.

Doesn't he look giant in these pictures! He is so big for only being 18 months!! 

Bath Paint: FAIL!

This set of bath paints were fun but did not turn out as expected. I picked up these cute little containers that I thought would be just the right size for his little hands. But after two seconds (maybe less) of painting.... He switched gears and started pouring. This resulted in a green bath! While it was still fun, I think I would categorize it as a "Fail." There was no painting. I should've just given him an empty container to fill up and pour out!

Rockey-Rock

Here is a video of little man singing, "Rockey, Rockey, Rock," a song which we always sing in the rocking chair (creative, I know). He is just so sweet!!

All Boy

This kid is ALL BOY.

We were trying to wind down before bed (notice the slippers) when little man came in carrying an empty moving box on his back and over his head. He ran a few laps around the house with the box then crashed. This is why he sleeps so well!!

The Library

Our local library has a really fun toddler area. There is so much to see and do! He really liked the train table but I think his favorite wax the "bank." He loved talking on the telephone and pushing the cash register's buttons.

This library has so many play areas, we didn't have time to try them all! We are going back next week for "Toddler Time" which means, reading books, singing, dancing and nursery rhymes with other kids. I think he will LOVE it!

Tears & Cheers

My hubby picked up an iPhone 5 for me! He brought it in while little man and I were having lunch. Little man pouted because he wasn't able to see it right away. His pouty faces are some of my favorite!

Things quickly changed when I told him we could look at it together after lunch. He was so excited. It's amazing how much he understands.

The pictures I use for my blog are usually taken by my phone. My new phone has a better camera so I hope the pictures will be better for you guys!
