Honey and I spent the weekend in Chicago for a friend's wedding. We had a great time!! We did a riverboat architectural cruise and took a spin on the ferris wheel at Navy Pier. Can't wait to go back!

Superman at the Zoo

We spotted Superman at the zoo and were able to say hello! Little man first saw him and said, "Hey! He looks like my dad!" ...and of course baby girl was scared and cried. So far she hasn't liked Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, or Superman!! 

Country Kids

We went up to my parents house looking for a bit of fun, and boy did we find it!

This boy was dying to get some worms and toss a line in the water! 

Little man found a toad to hold... Which I wasn't too excited about! Eek! 

We bought pumpkins from the Amish and colored on them. Little miss found a "baby pumpkin" of course! 

My parents took the kids out into the pond in their kayaks. The kids loooved this! 

We put the garden hose in the hot tub to cool it down and let the kids take their bath in there. They thought it was silly they could swim in the bath tub! 

Of course, they were sad to leave!
