3D ultrasound!!

Last night we had a 3D ultrasound to see our little girl! It was SO fun! Our parents were able to watch the ultrasound live from their computers so it was a really neat experience for all of us! She had her hands and the cord in front of her face almost the whole time so it made it thought to get a clear picture.

Here are some of the pics. She looks so different in each one! I don't know yet if she looks more like me, the hubby or little man! I cannot WAIT for her to get here!

Here is a video! You can tell she is floating in fluid. You can also see her yawn, open her mouth and stick out her tongue! We had 30 minutes of watching this and it STILL wasn't enough!!

We also did a 3D ultrasound with little man while we were still in Louisiana! He was twelve days older at the time and much chubbier! Here are his pics for you to compare. Do you think they look like siblings?

  1. When Should You Get a 3D Ultrasound
Women often have at least two or three ultrasounds during the course of their pregnancy. It is best to get a 3D ultrasound between 24 weeks and 28 weeks gestation because the baby will be fully developed and have fat under their skin without being squished in the womb. After 30 weeks gestation the baby is difficult to take pictures of because they are too crowded in the womb. A baby at less than 20 weeks gestation doesn't have fat under their skin so it is difficult to see what their facial features will actually look like. 4d ultrasound
