Little man loved wearing his costume. He was so excited to put it on. Thankfully, I had already taken pictures of him in it because last night I couldn't get him to stand still long enough to snap a pic. There was just too much excitement!
He practiced picking out candy.
And then we were off to visit the neighbors! We didn't make it all around the loop just about half way down and back.
He really liked to ring the doorbell. He couldn't master saying, "Trick or Treat" despite much practice. But he did RAWR when they opened the door! After they gave him a piece of candy he would beam and say, "DACKS!!" (meaning thanks). He always seemed surprised when he received a piece. He didn't want to put the candy in his bucket he wanted to eat each piece as he got it. We really had to convince him to wait until we got home.
We were exhausted by the end of it but the little guy didn't want to quit. We almost had a melt down when he was told we were done for the night. We bribed him back into the house by allowing him to eat some of his candy. The hubby and I sat down to eat our dinner and he had candy for dessert! He insisted on using a fork with his Snickers bar!
