Rock on!

We are still rock obsessed. The collection has grown and is bordering on out of control! Let's just say it is never a suprise when I find a stray rock... in the fridge, the dishwasher, washing machine, my shoe, my bed, my purse, several in the couch, under the couch...

Also, the kids have been playing so sweetly together. Here are two videos of playing with the rocks (disregard the snow pants...they are another favorite) Little man loves to teach his sister about the rocks. He also loves to look at rock pictures on Google.

This particular time their playing led to painting. But before we painted the rocks, I put them all in a shoe box and gave them a quick coat of white spray paint. I also gave half of them a little gold spray paint just for fun. It really helped the Crayola paint show up! And yes, these rocks were already clean because we have given them about 100 baths. They turned out great and it was a fun activity that lasted quite a while!  

After all of the rocks were dry, we spent a lot of time lining them up and grouping them. The fun never ends!
