We left little man with my parents and took the train into NYC. It was our first time taking the train in from our apartment and we were both surprised at how fast and easy it was! We drove to Secaucus Junction (nearby train station) hopped on and less than ten minutes later we were at Penn Station!

We spent the entire day walking around town. We walked down Broadway, through Times Square, over to Rockefeller Center and down 5th Avenue.

We stopped at Magnolia Bakery for a chocolate cupcake. It was as delicious as everyone said it would be!
We also spent some time at FAO Schwarz. We brought home a book and a new toy for little man.
The toy has a wooden mallet that you use to hit wooden pegs. It was a hit! He played with it all night, insisted on taking the mallet bed with him and even fell asleep with it in his hand. So sweet!
