Sensory Bins

One of the reasons I wanted to be a SAHM was so that I could teach, play and develop my child myself -- and there are SO many great ways to do all of these things. One of them is "sensory bins" which is just a fancy way of saying "let the baby explore things in a box."

Today our sensory bin(s) consisted of plastic containers, pom-poms and cotton balls. It was so much fun! Little man played with it for almost an hour (which in toddler time is eons!).

We mixed and separated, dumped and filled and even brought in some of our other toys.
